The Boston vs. Bullies program has educated thousands of kids—and COM’s Jason Carter has filmed it from the start

Edward Everett Elementary School in Dorchester was awarded the 2019 New Balance School of the Season. Thank you to Brian Johnson of the Boston Red Sox for coming out and speaking with the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders at the Everett School!

The Atherton Hough Elementary School in Quincy, MA was awarded the 2018 New Balance School of the Season. Thank you to Justin Turri of the Boston Cannons for coming out again and speaking with over 100 students from the Atherton Hough!

Thank you to former Boston Celtics player Brian Scalabrine for coming to Woodrow Wilson Elementary School in Framingham, MA and reading Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer with Boston vs. Bullies!

The students at Rumney Marsh Academy were awarded Boston vs. Bullies 2017 School of the Year for their hard work in creating a safe and welcoming school environment. After receiving their award, Brock Holt of the Boston Red Sox surprised the students and answered their questions on bullying.

In recognition of National Bullying Prevention Month and Boston vs. Bullies, the Zakim Bridge, TD Garden, and Government Center were lit up in orange on October 25th. Students also shared pictures of their Boston vs. Bullies team for #MyBvBTeam day.

The Lafayette School in Everett, MA was awarded the 2017 New Balance School of the Season. During the award ceremony, we also announced that Boston vs. Bullies has reached 50,000 kids.

A Boston vs. Bullies class from Sacred Heart hung out with Bull and Scooter of the Harlem Globetrotters and Master Model Builder Megan at Legoland Discovery Center.

The Murphy K-8 School in Dorchester, MA was recognized as the Boston vs. Bullies School of the Year for 2015 by Boston City Council members.

In honor of Bullying Prevention Month and for his efforts to stop bullying in Boston, the Boston Celtics celebrated Rusty Sullivan, Executive Director of The Sports Museum as a Hero Among Us on October 30, 2015. 

A 54-year-old health teacher speaks to middle schoolers about bullying. Within a couple minutes, those kids are thinking about the lunch menu. But over in a neighboring community, the students hear from Red Sox superstar Mookie Betts.

A team of independent evaluators from Boston University recently released the most far-reaching and ambitious evaluation study of The Sports Museum’s Boston vs. Bullies program conducted to date, indicating that the program is positively impacting participating schools and students.
