This video provides kids with strategies for preventing and stopping cyberbullying. Online harassment becomes cyberbullying when it’s intentional, repeated, and an abuse of power. Kids are increasingly using this form of bullying to harass, exclude, and torment others. (9 minute 30 seconds)
They might not know it, but kids who bully are hurting themselves, too. It is important to understand why kids bully so that we can help them stop. (7 minutes)
It’s hard to bully someone if you get to know them better. This activity uses personal player card (similar to a baseball card) that kids can list their strengths and interests. Use in conjunction with the activity on page 16 of the Facilitator’s Guide and on page 8 of Including Kids With Disabilities In Bullying Presentation.
